I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. While the location was great, the overall experience was lacking, especially considering the price. The rooms were clean but poorly designed and the amenities were minimal. I wouldn't say it offered good value for money.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location was quite convenient, and the kids loved the indoor pool with the waterslide. However, the room was a bit dark and lacked sufficient space for our toiletries, and the communication regarding parking was confusing. Sunset Resort has the potential to be a great place with its ideal location just a short walk from Canmore's main area. Our stay was marred by issues in the rooms and service that prevented it from being a fantastic experience. While the area is stunning and perfect for outdoor activities, the accommodation itself felt outdated and in need of some TLC.
