Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. While the location was great, the overall experience was lacking, especially considering the price. The rooms were clean but poorly designed and the amenities were minimal. I wouldn't say it offered good value for money.
My experience at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the games room and lounge were great for my kids and the place was generally clean, we faced major issues with the room temperature and the bed size. The service I received was far from satisfactory, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a more comfortable stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location was quite convenient, and the kids loved the indoor pool with the waterslide. However, the room was a bit dark and lacked sufficient space for our toiletries, and the communication regarding parking was confusing. Overall, while it served its purpose as basic accommodations, I expected a bit more.
My stay at the hotel was frustrating. While the room was clean, the overall experience was dampened by the thin walls and lack of on-site support. The check-in process was chaotic and I struggled with noise disturbances from neighboring rooms throughout my stay. The location was decent, but the value for money was not there, given the discomfort I experienced.
Sunset Resort has the potential to be a great place with its ideal location just a short walk from Canmore's main area. Our stay was marred by issues in the rooms and service that prevented it from being a fantastic experience. While the area is stunning and perfect for outdoor activities, the accommodation itself felt outdated and in need of some TLC.
